About the Redress Design Award
The Redress Design Award is the world’s largest circular fashion design competition. It works to educate and empower emerging fashion designers about circular design strategies and techniques so as to reduce fashion’s negative environmental impacts, while showcasing top emerging sustainable design talent on a global stage. Organised by environmental NGO Redress since 2011, and with 150 global fashion university partners, it attracts designers from over 50 countries to win prizes that connect them with global-leading fashion businesses so as to accelerate the change to a circular fashion industry.

Redress offering mentorship for Vogue China Fashion Fund
1. A 6-month mentorship program is provided for the winning participant of The Chinese Designer Prize, focusing on principles of sustainable and recyclable fashion design, tailored to the participant's needs. The program includes 6 monthly online video coaching sessions with experts from Redress, each lasting 90 minutes.

2. An opportunity is granted to one finalist of The Virtual Frontier to join a 6-day Marine Expedition, as part of an artist in residence programme under the Oceans Rising initiative. Departing from Costa Rica, this expedition offers the opportunity to explore the ocean alongside leading microplastics scientists, gaining inspiration for the creation of works.
